Alain Carou, chief curator of libraries, is director of the Animated images service at the audiovisual department of the national library of France (Bibliothèque nationale de France). He was one of the hosts of the seminar, Vidéo of the early days (Vidéo des premiers temps). Historian of the cinema, he was also curator of exhibitions (Cinéma Premiers Crimes, Jean Rouch, the Man-cinema/ l'Homme-cinéma).
Térésa Faucon is a lecturer/assistant professor at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris iii where she teaches aesthetics and film theory. She is the author of numerous books and articles on cinema and contemporary art. She published Thinking and Experimenting Montage, PSN, Paris, 2009; Theory of montage. Energy of the images, Armand Colin, Paris, (2013) 2017; Contemporary gestures of montage. Between medium and performance, Naima, Paris, 2017.
Hélène Fleckinger is a lecturer in film studies at the University of Paris viii Vincennes-Saint-Denis. She wrote a thesis on the relationship between cinema, video and feminism in France in the 1970s and specialized in early video. She has been working on the Cinema/video, art and politics program in France since 1968: devices, archives, digital in the Labex Arts-H2H and co-directs with Nadja Ringart the editorial platform Bobines féministes. She directed the publication Carole Roussopoulos: Activist Camera (Caméra militante). Liberation struggles of the 1970s (Luttes de libération des années 1970) (Geneva, MetisPresse 2010).
Callisto Mc Nulty is an author, director and translator. She is a graduate of Central Saint Martins and Goldmiths University of London. Her research in the fields of feminist and cultural studies and the visual arts takes the shape of editorial and curatorial projets and documentary films. She directed “Delphine and Carole, fearless accomplices” (70 min, 2019, produced by Les Films de la Butte and la Lucarne d’Arte) — an archival documentary film about the 1970s period of "enchanted feminism", through the portrait of Delphine Seyrig and Carole Roussopoulos. She directed with Anne Destival “Éric’s Tape” (70 min, 2017, with Eric Bauer, William Furlong and Colette Lumière), an investigation around a mysterious “Audio Arts” cassette.
Émilie Notéris is a text worker. She writes novels and essays, prefaced the anarchists Voltairine de Cleyre and Emma Goldman (Women and Anarchists, Blackjack editions, 2014), translated the ecofeminists (Reclaim!, Cambourakis, 2016) and invited xenofeminists (week-end Eco-Queer, Bandits-Mages, Bourges, 2015). His last queer essay, Restorative Fiction (La Fiction réparatrice), was published by Supernova editions in 2017.
