Merouane is the name of a young Algerian man, the first kamikaze to blow himself up in the town center of Alger in April 2007. The mul-ti-socket plug represents the material reality of this type of terrorism. This ordinary object can be turned into a destruction object : a detonator.

The photographic work is close to documenta-ry, and the drawing creates a fictional dramatisa-tion of a reconstitution relating to these events.
